The communication method uses Docomo's base stations.
From my experience, among the three major carriers (Docomo, AU, and SoftBank), Docomo has the widest coverage area.

The basic functions are as described above.
It's slightly smaller and lighter than the Soranome, but consequently, the battery life is only about 5 days.
This seems to depend on the size, but it can be extended somewhat by increasing the detection interval.
