An Irori table expands the ways you can enjoy a bonfire.

A bonfire is like the "cheers" of camping.

At a drinking party, you can't touch your drink until you say "cheers," and it's annoying when you can't do it quickly. Izu no Nushitsuri, a YouTuber I adore, also combines "camping" and "cheers" into "cam-cheers" in every one of his videos.

A bonfire at a campsite is like a ceremonial toast. From the moment you set up firewood and kindling in the fire pit and light it, camping officially begins.

And just as you keep ordering drinks endlessly as your glass empties, you keep adding firewood to prevent the fire from dying out. Perhaps fire is the drink of camping.

When viewing a bonfire, it's more enjoyable to gather around it with an irori table.

You'll likely set up a fire pit and, if you're solo camping, place a chair across a table. If there are two of you, arranging two chairs side-by-side facing the fire pit often leads to conversations while watching the fire, without making eye contact. In my experience, when drinking and chatting in this style, both parties are much more likely to make confessions and share revealing stories.

Therefore, I think it feels more natural to arrange chairs around the fire. And for camping with three or more people, it's far more fun to gather around the fire together, cook, roast marshmallows if there are kids, or watch delicious meat being grilled.

To set up, place the fire pit in the center of the irori table, then flip over and connect the individual table tops. The irori section has a 50cm square opening, and each side is approximately 84cm long, so it should offer plenty of space.

Furthermore, the tabletop is made entirely of stainless steel with a special embossed finish that is resistant to heat and scratches, so you can use it with peace of mind even close to the fire.

An irori-style table drastically increases the space for your gear.

Using an irori table instantly increases the space for placing cooking items like cutting boards, knives, and ingredients, enhancing convenience. The most annoying thing in my experience is when a cooler box is used as a table, and you have to move everything off it every time you want to get something out. With more places to put things, I think this problem will be reduced. By minimizing these small stresses, I feel like my tolerance level for the stresses of everyday life also increases.

Using a tripod dramatically enhances the ambiance.

If you set a tripod in the middle of the irori table and hang a hanging pot, the atmosphere becomes incredibly good. Adjust the chain so that it reaches the fire from a height of about 1 meter, and if you stew beef stew or curry in the great outdoors, it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable good memory. I want to make rotisserie chicken with rosemary over a bonfire. Oh, I really want to make it.
