A Sierra cup is a versatile cooking utensil (cookware) that can be used as a cup, a bowl, or even a cooking utensil in outdoor settings.
Some people even use it at home.
How to use a Sierra cup
The handle of a Sierra cup has a wire extending from the drinking spout, and you hold it by hooking your index and middle fingers onto it.
For first-time users, it's hard to get a feel for it just by looking at it, so I've seen many people grab the bowl directly instead of the handle.
However, once you understand this structure, it is highly stable and logical.
Furthermore, because there is a gap between the drinking spout and the handle, the handle will not get hot even when you heat the Sierra cup directly over a fire.

Titanium has low thermal conductivity, making it unsuitable for cooking utensils, but when used as tableware, it has no metallic odor and is easy to handle even for those unfamiliar with metal tableware.
Stainless steel has a metallic smell compared to titanium, but if that bothers you, you can imagine something similar to enamelware.
Because it has high thermal conductivity, it can be used for cooking methods such as grilling and boiling, and when I go solo camping, I complete all my cooking with just a mess kit and a stainless steel Sierra cup.
Furthermore, there's another item, though not exactly a Sierra cup, that can be used in a similar way: an aluminum cup for drinking makgeolli (a Korean rice wine).
Because the handle shape is different from a Sierra cup, it's recommended for those who want something unique and don't want to have the same thing as everyone else!
